Huseyn Abdullayev's authorities not solved yet

"A parliamentarian is deprived of authorities committing a crime and court passes decisionabout it," commenting on Huseyn Abdullayev's deputy mandate parliament's commission on for statehood and legal policy told.

According to article 175.2 of Electoral Code if there are cases under first part third paragraph of article 89 of Azerbaijan's Constitution, the court passes corresponding decision on depriving a parliamentarian of his authorities.

The commission also said that Huseyn Abdullayev will not be deprived of his authorities until the court's decision is efficient, APA reports.

"If here is no court decision, Huseyn Abdullayev is not deprived of his authorities," parliamentarian Igbal Agazade told.

He said that according to article 89 of Azerbaijani Constitution parliamentarian deprived of authorities after committing a crime and court passes decision about it.

"According to the Criminal Code, the court passes decision about it. There is such a practice. The country passed a decision on depriving me of my authorities when I was arrested for the events of 2003. If the court has not passed such a decision then according to article 23 of parliament's regulations the parliament may consider Huseyn Abdullayev's case," he said.
