Jeyhun Mammedov invited to international tournament in honor of Vladimir Putin

Azeri judo wrestlers were not invited to the President's cup tournament to start June 15 in Moscow, Russia. Sambo Federation president Jeyhun Mammedov told that he will observe the competition.

Mammedov stated that athletes from 10 countries will join the three-day competition, APA reports.

"Our team was not invited to the competition because it failed to enter top ten in world championship last year," he underscored.

Mammedov has received invitation as a member of Executive Committee of European Sambo Federation. The tournament will be organized in honor of Russian president Vladimir Putin.
