Minor HIV-infected Azerbaijani girl sentenced to nine month imprisonment

A court hearing on the case of 17 year old HIV-infected Elnara Ahmedova was held under the chair of judge Kemaleddin Badalov in the Nasimi district court, Day.Az reports.

The court sentenced E.Ahmedova to nine month imprisonment.

Thus, considering the fact that the HIV-infected girl had been kept in jail for seven months, two months are left for her to stay in prison.

It should be reminded that the court hearing on E.Ahmedova's case was held in private.
