Azerbaijani representative joins Global Forum on Human Trafficking

Chairman of Azerbaijan's State Committee for Problems of Family, Women and Children took part in the Global Forum on Human Trafficking.

The main task of the forum is the development of a coordinated platform for unification of efforts to resist human trafficking.

A source from the State Committee for Problems of Family, Women and Children told Novosti-Azerbaijan that the forum will be attended by the chairman of the committee Hijran Guseynova.

It should be noted that the said forum is held in the framework of the UN Global Initiative in Vienna on February 13-15.

Guseynova is expected to make a report on the situation in Azerbaijan.

The three day forum involves over 1200 officials, experts, law-makers, businessmen, representatives of numerous nongovernmental organizations from 116 countries.
