Huseyn Bagirov: "Russia pollutes the Caspian Sea even more than Azerbaijan"

The Russia pollutes the Caspian Sea even more than Azerbaijan, as pollutions mainly flow via the Volga river.

The due announcement was made by Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources  Huseyn Bagirov.

He said the comments of a number of Russian ecologists according to which the Caspian Sea is polluted mainly by Azerbaijan, are groundless.

"As most oil refineries of Russia locate on Volga, it is polluted by waste waters. Later these waters flow into the Caspian Sea", Bagirov noted.
