Yeni Musavat newspaper reporter threatened by unknowns

The due announcement was made by a source from the Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Safety.

Thus, the appeal fixed the request to the Minister to undertake due measures regarding the threat to the reporter of the edition and the publishing house.

"In this connection, I have already contacted the spokesman for Azerbaijan's Ministry of Taxes and asked to communicate the issue to the Minister. However, I was told that the information is not detailed enough, therefore, they face difficulties to apply to the Minister", the first deputy editor-in-chief of the newspaper Azer Aykhan noted.

It should be reminded that the author of the article "Facts gathered regarding Fazil Mamedov" was subjected to threats after the article was published in the Yeni Musavat newspaper. Unknowns called to the publishing house, asking for the author of the article and his whereabouts.
