Health insurance to be widely applied in Azerbaijan next year

“Health insurance program will be implemented in several pilot regions this year and it will cover a great number of regions of the country next year”, Ogtay Shiraliyev, Health Minister of Azerbaijan told APA Mil-Mugan bureau.

The minister said health insurance program would widely be implemented throughout the country.

Referring to the increase in the number of AIDS-infected patients in the region, the minister said: ”We are cooperating with international organizations in this field and carrying out the plan of preventive measures".
