Azadlyg newspaper correspondent Agil Halil invited to Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General's Office

Previously beaten and stabbed correspondent of Azadlyg newspaper Agil Halil was invited to the Prosecutor General's office of Azerbaijan, said a source from the Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Safety.
According to  journalist's defender Elchin Sadyghov, A.Halil was invited to the office due to the consideration of the claim, filed to the prosecutor general.

The defender noted that issues of pressure put on Halil and his being blackmailed before testimonies will be investigated.

Sadyghov noted that this issue is undertaken by assistant for the prosecutor general Azer Askerov.
