File claimed to Baku court for deprivation of Azadlyg newspaper team of founders' rights

Day.Az reports with reference to the Institute for Reporters Freedom and Safety that the due announcement was made by chairman of the association, one of the leaders of Azerbaijan's Popular Front Tahmasib Novruzov.

He said the claim fixes protest against the current team of the newspaper, as it was founded by members of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan, including him. He demands return of the founders' rights for the newspaper to the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party.

Novruzov noted that the claim fixes request to fine the newspaper for AZN 150,000. The funds are planned to be spent on the creation of a stand in the Istiqlal museum.

The chairman of the association noted that the preliminary court hearing on this issue will be held under the chairmanship of judge Elchin Qurbanov on June 5.
