Week of Azerbaijani culture to be held in Iran

He said the agreement was achieved during the visit of the deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Adalyat Veliyev to Iran, which ended on July 17.

It should be noted that the week of Iranian culture will be held in Azerbaijan in July of 2009.

Moreover, in the framework of Veliyev's visit the sides attained an agreement on organization of Mugham party's in Azerbaijan and Iran and stressed importance of the meeting of the Culture Ministers of the Caspian States, as well as creation of a joint committee on culture.

At the same time, the sides stressed the need to conduct a joint week of theater and cinema of the Caspian littoral states, develop cooperation in the sphere of culture in the framework of international organizations, declare the brother cities of Iran and Azerbaijan and hold a joint work to introduce the Khudaferin bridge to the list of global heritage.
