EU, Azerbaijan hold first session on environment

As is reported, the session of the work group aimed to define works, necessary for development of a working plan, connected with execution of measures, included into the National Actions Plan.

The due instructions were set to the state structures for implementation of the actions plan and improvement of legislature on environment by results of the session.

It should be noted that this year the issues of environment have been included by proposal of the European commission into the list of issues, considered by the subcommittee on energy and transport under the commission of Azerbaijan-EU cooperation.

In this connection, during the session of the State Commission of Azerbaijan on integration to Europe it was proposed to create separate work groups on issues of transport, energy and environment.
