Azerbaijani judoist Elnur Mamedli wins the first gold medal in the Olympic Games in Beijing

Judoist from Azerbaijan Elnur Mamedli (73 kg) won the first gold medal in the Olympic games final in 2008.
According to Day.Az, several seconds was enough to him to win over Korean Kichun Wang.

It should be noted that Elnur held five fights in the tournament, winning all of them ahead of time. This is the first medal in judo for independent Azerbaijan.
